MR. PiPS VIDEO GUIDES

GENERAL USE

This video illustrates the controls used to navigate MR. PiPS.

Use the camera to take a picture of the dominos to count. Toggle the flash on or off depending on your current lighting conditions.

Use the grid to check for accuracy.

Use the scorecard to record your score. If you are scoring for others who are not using the app, use the slider to choose their score.

GAME SET UP

This video illustrates player customization controls.

Set up a networked scorecard so others using the app at your gaming table can enter their own scores automatically.

Use the scorecard to record your score. If you are scoring for others who are not using the app, use the slider to choose their score.

ADD AN EXTRA PLAYER

This video illustrates how to add another player to an existing scorecard.

In a networked game, the host player will keep score for those who are not using the app or are not connected to the rest of the players. ALL players will be visible in the scorecard on each device.

Use the slider on the scorecard to represent the added players point total, or use MR. PiPS on your phone to let the app do the work. Select the player in the list, and add the score to the total.

LOTS OF DOMINOS

This video illustrates technique to photograph 12 dominos at once. We hope you never have to do this.

The teal grid lines are for reference only. If you hold the phone close enough so your domino height approximates the space between the lines, accuracy is improved.

Experiment with the flash if you notice harsh shadows around the dominos.

Remember to use a contrasting background so the dominos can be detected.
